So proud of this little fella. He has made us extremely proud. 1st ever race in a Micro Max and managed to collect 5th place. Throughout the weekend there were times Thomas was 2nd fastest on the circuit which, with the difference in power delivery and tyres in this kart, is a great result, as it is completely different to what he is used to.
It seems the chassis had a little too much grip for the conditions today and Tom’s little body struggled towards the end due to the physical demand of it, but that’s something we can work on.
Yet again huge thanks to Teesside Karting for loaning Thomas the Kart, to HRS Racing Engines for the power in the engine which made us very competitive, to Andy Ambrose Racing for helping out with the mechanics and being there for Thomas all weekend, and to Ian for helping to get the kart ready!
